Alessandro Simoneschi
Alessandro Simoneschi (Lugano, 1974). After getting his federal high school diploma (including Latin, B-Type), Simoneschi attended the University of Fribourg and graduated with a Master in Laws with special mention in European Law, Canon Law (Utriusque Iuris) and Bilingual (French / German). Simoneschi has subsequently improved and complemented his legal education by graduating as a LL.M in Business Law from the Universities of Geneva and Lausanne and he holds a CAS HES-SO for criminal justice degree from the University of Neuchâtel and a Masters degree in Compliance Management from the Center for Banking Studies, Lugano.
Subsequent to working at a private bank with Headquarters in Lugano, he was responsible for the Italian-speaking Switzerland of the Competence center for combating money-laundering issues at the third largest Swiss banking group. Simoneschi currently works for the Federal Office of Police where he deals with anti-money laundering and combating of financing of terrorism issues.
Alessandro Simoneschi is married and a father of three daughters.

Dopo aver conseguito la maturità federale letteraria (B), si è laureato in diritto all’Università di Friburgo cum laude con menzione bilingue, diritto europeo e diritto canonico (lic. utr. iur). Ha perfezionato in seguito la propria formazione giuridica alle Università di Ginevra e Losanna (LL.M. in Business Law), di Neuchâtel (CAS HES-SO pour la Magistrature pénale) e presso il Centro Studi bancari di Lugano dove ha conseguito il diploma di Master in Compliance Management.
A livello professionale Alessandro Simoneschi è attualmente alle dipendenze dell’Ufficio federale di polizia fedpol dove si occupa di lotta al riciclaggio di denaro e al finanziamento del terrorismo. In precedenza ha lavorato per il terzo gruppo bancario svizzero in qualità di responsabile del servizio di lotta al riciclaggio per la Svizzera italiana e per una banca privata con sede nel Canton Ticino.
Alessandro Simoneschi è sposato e padre di tre figlie.
