Letizia Tedeschi
Letizia Tedeschi has been the director of the Archivio del Moderno of the Academy of Architecture of the Università della Svizzera italiana since 1996. She has guided its research activity, making it a centre of advanced studies, and has established the collection of the Archivio del Moderno, promoting its valorisation through exhibitions, publications and studies at an international level thanks to specific agreements and memoranda of understanding (one of particular interest being the agreement with the Ministry for Cultural Heritage and Activities of the Italian Republic) with international and national universities, foundations and museums. She is part of the teaching staff of the Ph.D. in History of Art at the La Sapienza University of Rome. She is a member of the Scientific Council of the Institut National d'Histoire de l'Art in Paris (INHA), of the École Nationale Supérieure d'architecture Paris-Belleville and of the Graduate School in History of Arts of the Università degli Studi Ca’ Foscari-IUAV, Venice. She was a member of the Commission of Italian Switzerland of the SNSF (Swiss National Science Foundation) from 1998 to 2002. She has been Visiting Professor at the École Nationale des Chartes in Paris, La Sapienza University in Rome and the Université Paris 1- Panthéon-Sorbonne. She is the author and editor of many books and articles dealing with 18th, 19th, and 20th century architecture.
